Film by the Sea – Dutch premiere

Our new documentary a TRAVELER’S GUIDE premieres in the Netherlands on Saturday September 10th at 13.30 at the 24th Film by the Sea International Film Festival that is held from 9-18 September in Vlissingen, Zeeland. Directors Ton van Zantvoort en Josefien van Kooten will be present.  Other screenings during the festival are Wednesday September 14th at 11.30 (Cinecity hall 7) and Sunday September 18th at 12.00 (Cinecity hall 6).

During the 24th Film by the Sea, a wide audience can enjoy more than 100 films from all over the world, with satellite programs throughout Zeeland.
The unique location by the sea and the always surprising program make Film by the Sea a party every year, from the Opening Gala to the Awards Ceremony.  In June a TRAVELER’S GUIDE  was screening on the CinemAmbiente Festival in Turin.

About the film:
a TRAVELER’S GUIDE is made with footage shot by Ton van Zantvoort between 2008 and 2015 during his travels all over the world. The film is made in collaboration with Josefien van Kooten who did the editing together with Nicole Hálová. Also thanks to Joost Seelen for coaching them in the context of the Next traject, Olivier Nijs for the sound design, Amarte foundation and all sponsors who supported in the time when the material was shot: Gemeente Breda and BKKC (now Kunstloc).
