“What I hope to activate with the film is a sense of opening up of possibilities, through irony, poetry, encounters. One thing that making the film activated in me was curiosity about the details of the art practice and methods of someone whose work attracts me. What it also activated was endurance. I wanted the film to be light and cheerfull but to realise it, to structure it, took time.”
— Luuk Bouwman | Director, Dick Verdult
